I think you mean "homogenous" where you say "heterogenous"?

I would really love to see more of that kind of discussion at Wiscon, too. I just don't feel competent to carry it out! I think there is a lot of room to talk about the structural causes and root apparatuses of oppressions including class/capitalism. Er "room" = "need for", not "existing space for".
